Rear Sleeve note from Quadraphenomena: "The Recording featured here was transfered from a series of six sides of 78 RPM discs which were cut off the air during the broadcast in 1944. Although modern Octave Equalizers, Dynamic Noise Filters, a  set of five stili of different sizes and shapes, and new record cleaning devices have all been used in transferring the well worn 78's, the sound is not high fidelity. This historic content however , should far outweigh the sonic shortcomings."
